Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
After updating to version 1.5.0.13+1.5.0.15~prepatch080227-0ubuntu0.7.04.0 of mozilla-thunderbird under Kubuntu Feisty (07.04) I am unable to open a new message window, or reply to a message, either by pressing a toolbar button, chosing a menu option or using a shortcut. Furthermore, multiple menu options (for example, the "about" option in help menu, the "extensions" option in tools menu) display errors starting with "XML Parsing Error: not well-formed" 1. upon chosing "about" option XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: chrome://messenger/content/aboutDialog.xul Line Number 1, Column 16:rpanel-progress" collapsed="true" id="statusbar-progresspanel"> ---------------^ 2. upon chosing "extensions" option XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: chrome://mozapps/content/extensions/extensions.xul?type=extensions Line Number 1, Column 21: ondblclick="onProfilesDblClick(event)" --------------------^ There might be other options resulting with similar errors, I don't have time to check the menus thoroughly This bug makes it impossible to use my email client. ** Affects: mozilla-thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: mozilla mozilla-thunderbird thunderbird -- Unable to write mail or respond to mails in Thunderbird after update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199061 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
