Just a little question here... Which basic flac package are you refering to MrAuer? I presume its the lib8 guy? I installed the xmms-dev package and compiled from source and added to .xmms/plugin but still no go so i reread and realised i had missed the basic flac package bit... Thanks for the fix though xmms rocks I had all but given up listening to music on this old horse of a laptop but with xmms its party time. rtorrent is helping along too, rebuilding my library :-)
