I was playing a youtube video on Firefox and it was skipping with lots of
harddisk activity.
I checked top and found that gnome-power-man was consuming 64% of my memory and
increasing. I killed it before it took down my system.

I'm not sure if I can reproduce this. I will try.

I just installed the Mythbuntu 8.04 Alpha 2 release after problems
upgrading from the 7.10 release to the Alpha 2. The problem now seems

If someone has a pristine Ubuntu Server Edition installation for hardy,
please can they attach their sources.list so we can use it to close this
bug.
I doubt there is any difference between the server edition and a desktop
edition installation of apt, so anyone with a pristine desktop hardy
instal
