Public bug reported:
By displaying the location bar in the file chooser, and after some
sequence of operations, the file chooser displays the first hidden files
in the alphabetical order but with the number of non-hidden files.
Low priority.
Here's how to reproduce the bug:
1 - open a gtk application : gedit for example
2 - type CTRL-O to open the file chooser
3 - type CTRL-L to *display the location bar* if it's not visible (the bug
doesn't show otherwise)
4 - type CTRL-H to display the hidden file (in your home directory for example)
5 - close the file chooser: click Cancel or type Esc
6 - type CTRL-O to re-open the file chooser
7 - type CTRL-H to hide the hidden file...
And see the mess.
Another way to uncover the bug:
1 - open a gtk application : gedit for example
2 - type CTRL-O to open the file chooser
3 - type CTRL-L to *display the location bar* if it's not visible (the bug
doesn't show otherwise)
4 - type CTRL-H to display the hidden file
5 - open the Documents folder (for example) by double clicking it in the right
pane or using the shortcut
6 - get back to the home folder by ALT-UP ARROW or clicking the button in the
"toolbar" at the top
& - type CTRL-H to hide the hidden files...
And see the mess.
