Hi,
Your problem could also be with the 2.6.22-13 kernel. There are problems
with the wireless support for the broadcom driver. I've moved back to
2.6.22-12 where everything seems fine.

Well, here it looks like total cr#p...
The fade in is ok, but fading out never happens, the screen freezes for
5-20 seconds, 100% CPU load and then it suddenly shows the gksudo'd
application.
Is there any way to disable the complete useless fade in/out?

I very much doubt upstream will have anything before Gutsy release.
Could we integrate my patch or possibly a similar one with some minor
changes? It wouldn't be very good IMO to have the brightness randomly
increasing in Gutsy final as it does now...

I forgot to say that this affects Gutsy. In Feisty it worked correctly
and "i" was only associated with "minimize" action.

Looking at it again, it seems like it is not meant to do that, only for lcd
screens... Can you try to manually add the sync ranges to the autogenerated
xorg.conf
nowshining, why do you think that your issue is network-manager related

I can confirm this. This isn't really a problem for me as I know how to
get around the issue, but I believe this is a show stopping bug for a
lot of people. The T60p is a pretty common computer in Norway at least,
so I think this issue warrants a higher priority.

Sorry, should have provided some additional info. I'm running amd64 and
I used the update manager to perform the upgrade. I accepted all
proposed changes in the update manager process. I don't know what evms

since 6.06). I
