Public bug reported: If you autohide a panel, it doesn't really shrink it, it just slides it downwards so that it is off the bottom of the screen. This means that if you have dual monitors in a one-above-the-other configuration, and the screen at the top has the panels, then the 'hidden' panel is visible at the top of the bottom screen.
