Same here. FireHOL is unable to configure iptables correctly in feisty
(everything is OK in both dapper and edgy). With FireHOL's default

As of 2): I suspect that this is a bug in /etc/init.d/powersaved. I had
the same problem and found that the modules are loaded, then the
governours are started and then it waits 0.2 for the modules to load. I
put the sleep 0.2 BEFORE the starting of the governours and voilá: it
works.

That is a new plugin, it should probably be listed by the interface
though, you can stop it by changing the /apps/rhythmbox/plugins/power-
manager/active gconf key to false

On Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft and 7.04 Feisty Fawn, the installer hangs or has
very poor performance during the first few steps of installation, this
is most evident when selecting time zone. When you select your time
zone, the computer slows to a crawl and usually crashes completel

I checked some more: My original problem is solved, network manager
connects my box reliably now.
My problem now is with firehol having a completely broken configuration
that breaks connectivity. This is #78017 for those interested.
