Bryce,
I can't seem to add your PPA key.
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring
--secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg
--keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.co
Bryce,
I still have this issue but haven't checked on the bug report status in
a long time... I will make an image of my hard drive and then install
the packages from your PPA.

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,

I have discovered something. This seems to be directly related to the
fact that I have three displays. If I only use two displays in TwinView
on the same GPU everything works as expected (videos play only on one

monitors) When ad

I am unable to install the nVidia 180.44 driver. There is no package in the

contains a .run for x86 32bit systems. If you can point me to a 64 bit
version of the driver, I'll be happy to test it for you.

In Jaunty (9.04), we have just updated to the latest

This package provides fixes for a large number of bugs, and we need your
assistance in testing if it fixes the issue you reported.

I merely wanted to make sure you were attaching another monitor to it.
I'm very well aware that you can attach a secondary monitor to a laptop.
This is not a new concept. Laptops have done this virtually since they

I understood. A cool thing about laptops these days is that we can, in

Which version(s) of Ubuntu? Which version(s) of the nvidia driver?
I have used Intrepid (8.10) and OOov3 with the Sun presenter mode, and
it works without the problem you see, although it does exhibit the
problem of grabbing all workspaces instead of just the one it is on when
