Drew, I understood. A cool thing about laptops these days is that we can, in fact, have multiple displays. ;-) This comes in very handy on the road, when I am using OOov3 for presentations, with the console on my LCD and the slides on the projector. I just don't see the problem that you reported, either with OOov3 or when connecting my laptop to a TV via HDMI or S-Video to watch videos. I reproduce a different one, which I have reported on the OOo tracker, that the Presenter mode takes over all workspaces.
