after the latest update to mutter, gnome-shell is constantly resetting
font-scaling after reboot. All programs scale fine, even nautilus, it's
just the shell ui that is being reset.

Ardour should use his own theme for everything, ugly or not it's usable.
But in Ubuntu, and only in ubuntu, there seems to be some interaction
between ardour own theme and the system theme, and if you use a light
theme, like radiance, the menu bar text becomes unreadable.
Other distros do not have

The custom kernel by travis nearly solves the problem for me, but I
still get some freezes (very rarely), but they might be related to my

my xorg.conf, not even with the repro.sh script running togheter with
skype rhytmbox and mozilla and compiz. I have freezes as soon as I

Still, this driver for me only works with WEP encryption, no WPA at all.
And sometimes connection drops to 2-3%, but never gets lost, as in the
default ubuntu driver. I tryed today Fedora Core 10, with kernel 2.6.27

I reported the issue to the intel bug tracker, some guys are helping. I
switched to Hardy, but the issue was still there on Intrepid stable, but
I switched to Hardy so I don't know if some update has solved it.

Well, after a few days I noticed a bug in the rtl driver from the
aircrack guide. It fails to recognize correctly network keys on
protected networks. My network key is WPA, it recognizes it as WEP and
doesn't want to connect, even if I force it to WPA. Only connecting to
unprotected networks works.
I found a solution to make my device work under any Hardy kernel
following this guide:

But I could only make it work using wicd, network manager doesn't seem
to connect, but then with wicd it works nearly flawlessy!

Enabling sync to vblank under compiz advanced settings does completely
solve the issue for me with vlc (I have the latest nvidia drivers
173.14.05 and a geforce go 7400). Also checking unredirect fullscreen
windows does work, but only on fullscreen videos so I prefer the first
method.

Hi, I'm having this problem since I updated from Gutsy to Hardy 32bit.
Hardy messes up the FAT32 partition on my mp3 player. I copy/delete
files on it, unmount it, turn on my mp3 and find many files messed
up/unreadable. Mount it again and find it to be a readonly filesystem.
I only have this problem when compiz is enabled. All the games I play
fullscreen have this problem, no matter the input. If I disable compiz,
the problem goes away.

I have a similar problem with the integrated webcam on my laptop, it has
the same chipset (it's a Vimicro Vc-0321), I dunno if boot slows down
beacause of the webcam,'cause I can't remove it, but it's not
particularly slow. The problem is the webcam isn't properly configured,

And I forgot to say that I had this problem only after Gutsy RC
installation from the live CD, cause the live CD itself could boot and
install with no problems (except the PCI: cannot allocate resource
region 0 error after grub loading, but no black screen after that) ..
