Well, after a few days I noticed a bug in the rtl driver from the aircrack guide. It fails to recognize correctly network keys on protected networks. My network key is WPA, it recognizes it as WEP and doesn't want to connect, even if I force it to WPA. Only connecting to unprotected networks works. So I had to find another solution, and I found that ndiswrapper+wicd was the right one. Now I can connect to everything, and stay connected.
