Neither capture image or video works for me. It segfaults on either.
I've attached my own terminal output of running guvcview and the
segfault at the end. I hope we can figure this out. I want to be able to
record video with audio that actually sync's up as cheese doesn't work
right in that regard.
I found the problem. It's not a problem with nautilus. It's a sansa
problem. I have to change the USB mode to MSC (I think that's the
correct one). M...-something. 3 letters. I don't have my sansa right
now to check. It's the last of the few options for USB settings in the
sansa itself.

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and installed all updates. The About
Ubuntu window under System>About Ubuntu has the wrong version

I have this problem and gpointing-device-settings doesn't work for very
long. About 30 seconds after I disable it and close the app it re-
enables. I've not found any way to permanently disable the touchpad.

If you have an LCD screen or monitor fonts everywhere tend to be fuzzy
(at least on my box) until I choose hinting (full) and subpixel hinting
(RGB) in User Interface Prefs (Xubuntu).
That fixed the blurriness for me. Perhaps it will for you, too. :-)

I have the same problem. It doesn't seem to matter if the screensaver is
GL or not. Instead of using a screensaver, using 'blank screen' works
just fine.
