suspend or hibernate from the session menu when one meant to logout (as
someone who oft uses his laptop from a distance, that *does* happen

It can't be a network issue for the following reasons:
1. The issue does NOT arise when I boot into Windows (on the same
machine)
2. The issue DOES arise when I boot into Ubuntu 11.04 both at home and
work/university
3. I have NOT recently changed any firewall settings (hardware or
software) and
I have no idea how to go about assigning this bug to Chromium and Ubuntu
as a whole (as it appears to be browser independent), so if someone in

I'm experiencing the same bug (I originally reported as bug #733242)
under Ubuntu 10.10 (x86-64). I think a more accurate description however
would be to state that the About Me entry is missing from the Me Menu
(under icon-only mode), as the weird separator is merely a consequence
of it's absence.

I'm curious, are there any on-going efforts to develop a telepathy
connection manager for Skype? I've seen fleeting references to something
called telepathy-spirit, although it would seem that this is/was a
closed sourced project run by Nokia (bad form!) and as such is only
available for Maemo/ARM.
I seem to have a duplicate broadcast icon in my messenger menu also,
although my system is entirely up to date. I'm loathed to file another
bug until I'm certain this isn't an local issue with my set-up, but I
lack the qualifications to properly interpret the terminal output of
indicator-messages-s
lting in a cache update and no
software sources dialogue.
I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.10 (x86-64) with the stable version of
Ubuntu Software Centre. If there is any further information I can

I've recently upgraded to Maverick (10.10 x86-64) from Lucid (10.04
x86-64) and notices that a few of my custom key bindings that functioned
perfectly under Lucid no longer seem to function under Maverick.
Specifically these key bindings where as follows:

manager and manually upgrading docky from there, you'll be asked to
confirm the removal of python-docky which may be why the update manager
greyed out the option.

Hmm, explicitly prohibiting direct user interaction with notifications
does seem like shooting oneself in the foot. For example it puts notify-
osd at an immediate disadvantage when compared to many application-
specific implementations. A case in point being Thunderbird; libnotify
