Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
For the past week network-manager has been crashing at seemingly random intervals (taking nm-applet along with it). Up until two days ago I was mainly connecting to the internet via a residential ethernet LAN, but for some reason this became unresponsive on Friday afternoon. Since then I have been using a local WiFi access point, and the frequency of these random crashes has increased considerably. I've attached a section of /var/log/syslog corresponding to one of these crashes, which occurred at around 23:20 (CET) these evening. Hopefully someone with more technical savvy will be able to glean something from it. I'll be more than happy to provide further information, just respond with instructions (if necessary). Ubuntu 10.10 (x86-64) with latest stock version of network-manager. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ethernet network network-manager nm nm-applet wifi -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799540 Title: NetworkManager keeps crashing randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/799540/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
