Well, I have both the transmissionbt stable (https://launchpad.net/~transmissionbt/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=oneiric) and transmissionbt beta (https://launchpad.net/~transmissionbt/+archive/beta?field.series_filter=oneiric) PPA enabled and it looks as if the aforementioned installed version is from transmissionbt stable (odd that, would have though transmissionbt beta would have been ahead of stable).
If there's any way I can help trace down this error, do let me know. I've tried running transmission-gtk from the terminal, but I don't see anything relevant to be honest. I also lacked an absence of of a debug option for transmission-gtk.
