Binary package hint: indicator-applet
I am currently running the latest beta of Lucid Lynx, and there doesn't
appear to be an entry for Empathy/Chat in the indicator-applet.
Incidentally there is not a Mail entry in the indicator-applet, although
that is to be expected as I have uninstalled Evolution and replaced it
with Thunderbird.
Here follows a run-down of all of the relevant package installed on my
laptop:
empathy & empathy-common: 2.29.93-1+ppa10.4+1
indicator-applet: 0.3.4-0ubuntu1
telepathy-gnome: 23
telepathy-core: 23
P.S.: There is an identical bug to this (Bug #542432), however it
appears to have been marked invalid and as my install is up-to-date
(I've just this minute rebooted from a round of package updates) I
assume the conclusions reached under said bug are not applicable in this
case. If this is not the case and this is a duplicate bug I apologise in
advance.
