Expected behavior: eprimer3 program picks primers based on a sequence.
What happens: the program returns with "Error: Missing SEQUENCE tag"
To reproduce, just type eprimer3 -auto (sequence name)

daemon is running in the background, and it is popping up bubbles. These
kind of applications should all behave the same way, in order not to

Just tried update-upgrade on Intrepid, but there's no new Pidgin
version. I don't think it can be considered fixed as long as it is not
possible to connect both Intrepid (stable) and LTS versions. Could it be
just patched to report a later client version towards ICQ servers?

If your problem is like mine, i.e. that the settings don't get saved, so
you have to turn it off manually at each logon, there is a workaround.
Start gnome-appearance-properties from terminal, and set Visual Effects
to off. You won't have to worry about compiz anymore :)

Confirmed on Intrepid. The workaround did not work for me. Somehow any
changes regarding the compiz-no compiz question gets discarded at
logout. I have to turn off compiz every time I log in. I just don't know
which variable is string instead of list. Is there a way to find it out?

Same problem on a Compaq nc6320, Ubuntu 8.04 RC1.
I also see a console message (the second time) saying something like Freezing
of tasks failed after 20 seconds. The task it mentions is khubd. Accordingly,
it is not possible to attach a new USB storage device, like flash drive, to the
computer.

8.04 beta it crashes often, but not always for me. It still falls far

Well, almost. In case of wide screen movies it left a little bit of
black stripe, but the movie was stretched out vertically. If the movie
aspect was 1.1 then it was stretched horizontally and filled the screen.
