Since then I changed computers, so I don't know about Feisty. I think it was Dapper-specific, because it did not happen before or after.

It was surely something with the X, or the ati driver. But because it seemed to be random, and there were no reports in log files, it was hard to describe it. So I can not say for certain that it is the same.
