Inspiron 4150. Acpi suspend garbles the screen on resume no matter what
I do, and I can't find a decent workaround. Apm suspend freezes the
system if used (in any way) inside any X server (Xorg or Xgl). The only

Okay, I now tried the trident driver of knoppix, but it still doesnt fix
it. Then it must have something to do with the combination of driver and
some other factors which are in kubuntu but not in knoppix...
Help would really be appreciated :S

The installer crashed on me too.

of something?

I think I am bit vague in the description.
When i used the linux-image 2.6.15.15, I can connect to WLAN.
Even though lspci says Intel Unknown 4222 (about the IPW 3945)
wlanassist can detect the networks.
but when i updated the kernel to 2.6.15.23 using adept.
And booted into it, and started wlanass
