Public bug reported:

when creating the default dialup account, I can't enter a blank
password.

My ISP uses caller ID for billing, hence the blank password.

To fix this, I need to edit the pap-secrets file and change the password
accordingly. A "" does the job. I hope the dialog box will accept blank
passwords.

I also have problems when editing dialup accounts. After an account is
created, the system will repeatedly concatenate the old phone number to
itself.

(ie. Original number: 1234,9990000, after editing, it becomes 1234,
99900001234,999000)

My cat /proc/version is

Linux version 2.6.15-25-amd64-generic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.0.3
(Ubuntu 4.0.3-1ubuntu5)) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jun 14 11:28:03 UTC 2006

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
