Hi Steven This bug specific to dapper (brezzy was running perfectly on same system) affects as well a fresh install of dapper as an upgrade from brezzy via Synaptic. A lot of problem reports has been posted on several forums, french, English... without any solution but (for my CPU) removing the USB2 support in bios!) Warm regards
