Sorry to keep dusting off this old thread, but after a few months I thought I'd share my thoughts on the option I eventually went with for my DR-680, which was to use Powerex 2700 mAh NIMH AA rechargeable batteries and the Powerex MH-C801D charger. On a full charge, the batteries last over f

There was a recall early on in the life of the Tekkeon battery detailed here: http://www.tekkeon.com/recall/ but the latest models seem fine. Indeed, I've run my DR-680 and a Metric Halo ULN-8 from mine with no problems, and will be trying it out with the 788 once I can get a custom cable made.

Hi, list - To pick up on this older thread: has anyone tried this particular cheap Li battery from Hong Kong? Did it burst in to flame as John warned that it might? It seems this might be a better bet - I somehow trust the higher price, though I'm wondering if that's justified... http://www

Not a bad day at all, although a film crew in the area meant that I was somewhat restricted as to where I could be, so only one close-up recording. However, I did get to try the ULN-8 with the Prestigio/Tekkeon battery pack and although it works perfectly well, the current demand of the ULN-8 wi

Not as good as the Li-Ion pack, but not bad at 3 hours 15 minutes approx. I missed the exact cut-off as I had to answer a phone call and when I came back in to the room, the batteries had died. Maplin has packs of four of these batteries with charger at a sale price of £14.95. Tomorrow I'm back
