the earmarked balance?
Perhaps I’ve missed it, but overall I don’t think I’ve seen any substantive
discussion here on this issue, despite the fact that at least in theory there
could be substantial payout liabilities for SPI?

this were the result, I’d have no objections to raising SPI’s fee either

(2) What changes do you plan to make that you believe will return the SPI
Treasurer office (arguably one of SPI’s most important from an associated
project’s perspective) to providing functional and timely service and
communication.

rgue that even when paying independent contractors, there needs to be
someone paid at SPI to manage those contractors? (Which I personally wouldn't
agree with.)

In general I'm a believer in the statement that action (and inactions) speak
louder than words. If a Board member misses a majority of Board meetings
_without notice_, I think it's entirely fair to treat that as a statement from
that Board member that they're disengaging.
Disengagement could be
or something compatible, I could try to

a concern (I certainly think it should
be!), this is what I would suggest focusing on to fix, rather than trying to
limit the damage after take-over by hamstringing the Board.

I don't have a strong opinion about spi-announce versus not, but I'd definitely
be for posting accepted resolutions on a public mailing list.

I agree with Martin. What's particularly troubling IMO about this
recommendation is that there seems to be no process at all through which
projects can submit proposals for receiving funds, and according to which such
proposals would get reviewed, evaluated, and prioritized. Until that's in
pla
a typo, or did something get mixed up here?
