I must be doing something stupid, or have something misconfigured. My
server times out on Pyzor tests about 90% of the time, and on DCC tests
about 5-10% of the time. I've set the timeouts to 10 seconds. My
average message analysis time due to these tests taking so long is 13-15

I had a similar problem when I installed pyzor.
In my case, I am running spamd with a spamd user with its $HOME dir set
to /var/lib/spamassassin.
The only way to solve this was to set -H /var/lib/spamassassin/ in the
line I call spamd in my initscript.

Just installed pyzor to work with spamd.
pyzor works fine in the command line (as root and as spamd user).
However spamd (sa-2.55) seems to not be able to use pyzor.
