hello,
I'm using SA with a mysql database for a few months, and I
wanted to test the bayes system.
Unfortunately, the spamd is reporting that:

I'm using the following command to "feed" SpamAssassin the email messages.
my $status = $spamobj->check_message_text($EmailMessageHeadersAndBodyHere);
The "major" problem I'm having now is that if there are any quote (") marks
anywhere in the message ($EmailMessageHeadersAndBodyHere), then

I have a local caching DNS server. Works perfectly - far bet

hello all,
when i invoke spamc from the global procmailrc, each users mail should be
checked against spam using their own tokens (or should it?). but if a user
doesn't have bayes database, sa uses some other users database. is this
normal, or is this just a feature?

Hello
I just installed spam assassin on my computer which is windows xp
and I use netscape for email. It seems to work well but I need to fine
tune it since it considers all mail from a list I run as spam. Can
anyone send me a url that explains how to configure it for netscape, how
to adjust
Can't figure out now to get SA to re-write headers using Evoluton (my
wife's MUA), where I'm using the Evolution to pop the mail from my ISP.
I have it set up in the filters section, where I simply give
/usr/bin/spamc. SA identifies spam fine and filters to the spam folder,
but no change in heade

Hello,
Is there a safe, and documented, way to backup the Bayes databases? Here
(FreeBSD 4.7R) they reside in:
/usr/home/spamd/.spamassassin/
Mysql, for instance, has a "hotcopy" utility, that ensures the databases are
flushed first. Is there a documented way of doing something similar? I mean,
I have noticed some increased times for processing messages using spamc/spamd.
Setup is: SA 2.55
RH 7.2
Razor2 2.34
I start the daemon with OPTIONS="-d -c -a -H"
And I've been experiencing increased processing times the past week at the
following point:
