I solved the problem of the small inverter/generators kicking out by just
making the generator and an IOTA charger as a subsystem.. I find the best
charger match for the small generator and hook up to the batteries. I started
doing this with grid tie with backup systems as the GVFX i
it because they
wanted solar and liked the idea of not having to go to all the trouble to get
it installed. One mortgage payment... all done.

I had a similar problem with an XW 6048 but the overcharge happened on AC1
input. One xantrex tech told me the battery bank was too small. I had 8 L16's
6 v 360 ah. I reset to factory defaults and asked them many times why the
voltage raced up to 64v when set at correct absorption volt

monitor does work to indicate a bad fan. I have had them go off when the
voltage set point on the dux relay was set too high to catch the early stages
of gassing.

The sun actually turns off every day!.
And for the new people on the block, polarity can still be determined after

I have only installed one LG Chem 10H with the StorEdge inverter for
backup power in a vacation home and it has performed wellmany times over
the last two years
in power outages. Much easier installation than than dealing with Tesla
Powerwall.
