John we have had quite cold temps here in maine. Have you had this issue over the summer or is this a recent issue? What is the flow rate prior to the check valve at the pressure tank? Remove it from the Check valve at the pressure tank and see if your noise goes away. You checked the basics th

Steve, I took my scope meter today and checked wave forms at all points. All were clean sine waves. I checked the breaker connections and all connections back to the inverter and all were tight. Voltage drop when pump kicked on was small and only about 1 volt when running. Amp were 12 on both legs

I think this Victron uses a toroid which is more efficient. It's sort of like the ones AEE used to sell. Maybe the efficiency is not so important for a pump as it would be for continuous use. Victron Autoformer
