Hi Anne,
The bike that is most comfortable and can carry what you need is probably the
best way to go. Can't you fender the Roadeo? It sure seems like you're leaning

Yes, overly paranoid. Hanging with this group will do that to you. I weigh
10-15 pounds more and ride a 28 spoke front. I even commute on it with my bag
o' stuff on my back. Last year I commuted on a bike with Neuvation wheels (20
radial spokes on the front) and even that held up just fine. I t
This morning, my commute to work was a bit scary. As I headed down the PCH from
the Leucadia area, I was passed a bit too close by a white Toyota pickup with a
pipe tied to its passenger side (along the top of the bed and over the side
mirror) like a lance protruding from the front. This was cl
Hey Doug,
Can you even breathe the air there in August? It seems more likely that you'd
have to chew it at that time of the year.

Hi All,
I know this is late notice, but I've been wanting to get my 6yo son out for a
ride. I was pondering putting the Burley Piccolo on my AHH and dragging him
from our place in Capo Beach/Dana Point to the Oceanside or Carlsbad area. We
can either come back on bike or take the train back de
Hmm...I can't believe this thread is still going. I only meant it as a rant.
Anyway, I was thinking about how the guy who buzzed me took off when he saw me
pull out my phone. My phone is in a holster on the strap of my backpack. When
viewed from a rearview mirror, it's hard to know just what I
Esteban,
On the AHH, I tried to keep the bars higher for a while. I found that it hurt
my shoulders and arms. Upon lowering, I went back to be comfy again. Be careful
with the Brooks saddle. I've ever found the B17 to be comfortable on long rides
with lower bars. I don't think the saddle is id
I have to ask. How does one burn through the JBs and why would only get 1000
miles on the Paselas? I've ridden a pair of JBs for voer 1500 miles and they
still don't show a lot of wear. Others on the list claim that Pasela's wear
well. If you're really burning through the tires, especially on t
Just to note. It sounds like, in this case, that the customer was not getting
exactly what he or she asked for. This is a very different circumstance than
simple cancellation after the start of the build process. I would want all my
money back if I didn't receive what was asked for. If I cancel

Hi Everyone,
I don't know what the interest level on this list might me, but thought I'd

The size of the bike or the size of the tires? The Kojaks are 700X35C, but
measure about 32.5 on a Mavic Open Pro rim.

The Apex and the other SRAM road groups should be compatible with the XX group.
The cable pull ratio is the same for the rear derailleurs. The cassette spacing
is identical and is the same as Shimano's 10 speed spacing. You can mix and
match SRAM 10 speed derailleurs and shifters, but you can't
They must be. You can see the checkerboard pattern in the pics and they're too
wide to be roly-polys or ruffy-tuffys.
