I agree that this discussion depends a bit on your size and needs. If you are 
someone who weighs over 200 lbs then the AHH may not be the best option unless 
you do not intend to carry much on the bike. 

That said, the AHH is a very versatile bike with great road manners. Fendered 
with the Jack Brown tires, it is a great road bike. Take off the Jack Browns 
and put on some cyclocross tires and it handles off-road really well. I have 
used mine shod with 34C cyclocross tires on mixed terrain rides and have found 
it to handle everything with aplomb.

I don't have experience with the Bombadil or Atlantis, but I know that both 
bike will handle racks and gear much better than the AHH would.
