I found the leather on two different Flyer saddles to stretch and lose
tension really quickly. And the springs were always annoyingly squeaky.
Don't know about the rail lenghts.

Well if I ever get out of Denver and back home I'll measure for you. Just put
one on my Bombadil and didn't notice a difference. At 225lbs it can feel
bouncy at times. Then again I've only got 100 miles on it.. I will know more
after 50 ish mile ride Saturday.

It was my Uncles 50th Birthday on Saturday so I took the opportunity to make
a mini trip out of it and headed out on Saturday morning and caught the

I have the same issues with a too long 12cm "tallux" stem. I've raised
it as high as I can and it's still feels wrong. I'm going to just
switch it out for a 9cm and go thru the different heights. I really
don't thing you can solve this "feel" w/mathmatics. I've tried scale
