Seriously, have you found a solution to your question? FWIW, raising
my stem 2 cm made 1.5 cm longer reach bars feel much the same in the
hooks and on the hoods as the shorter bars positioned lower. (Grand
Bois Maes Parallel copies with 115 mm reach versus Nitto 185s with 90
mm reach; same 8 cm stem raised 2 cm.)
