Jumping in here -- front & rear disk brakes open up 650b options without having to buy a custom. We have an '05 Cannondale MTB disk tandem that we used with 700x28s for awhile before going back to 559/26" wheels for fatter tires. When I get the motivation, the next wheelset will be 650b. Until the
