Hi all,
I just updated my clamav to verion 0.70 from version 0.70-rc. I notice in
the header that qmail-scanner stamps the version of clamdscan being run (I
use clamd/clamdscan implementation) by calling $clamdscan_binary --version
and grabbing the version info off the string output. Well the

What are the requirements for /usr/bin/perl rather than user/bin/suidperl?
I am running freebsd 4.7 with verion 1.21 with no problems at all, love it!
Before I upgrade how can I confirm that my system will work with
/usr/bin/perl?

Also, if using .qmail files and vmailmgr consider looking at ifspamh:
http://www.gbnet.net/~jrg/qmail/ifspamh/
A new version exists at:

That supports features like which unix user to lookup sa user_prefs,
supports trashing messages or sending tag
Agree, it isn't the only place where this information could be, but since it
is a qmail standard control file that defines "local" or is intended for
that purpose, thought it made sense.
Of course I can extend it myself and am thinking of doing so, just a
recommendation.

Hi All,
I have qmail-scanner up with clamdscan and am quite happy with it. I have
been playing around with the notification features of qmail-scanner when a
message is stopped.
I see the option for recips in the notify area, but am unclear on when it
triggers the notification, it looks as though
I continue to get the following message when installing:
In string, @mm now must be written as [EMAIL PROTECTED] at -e line 21, near "@mm"
Execution of -e aborted due to compilation errors.
I found on the list archives to add a \ in front as indicated but for the
life of me can't figure out where
