You need to overwrite TRANS.TBL with the one from disc3 because that one

Hi, all,
I've got a small problem that I can't seem to figure out. I've got an
Orinoco wireless NIC that I'm trying to use to connect to my company's
network on my RedHat 8 laptop. Our corporate network uses 128-bit
encryption, so I must specify the SSID and Keys 3 and 4 to be allowed on

Well...you're able to connect from localhost using 'mysql'
and telnet, right? So it looks like up to the point of the mysql
server watching port 3306, it's d
Thanx for all the help Jay

`man shadow` will tell you this (and a lot of other useful information
as well). Sorry, no *nix box at hand right now...
When I run OO and print to a file I end up with Postscript Leve 3. I just
discovered that it only prints if it's Level 2. I found ps2ps which will
do the conversion for me, but...
Q1: Can I tell OO to produce Level 2 somehow?
Q2: Can I tell the printer system (whatever that is, CUPS, redhat pri
Hi all,
How can I send a email with some attach files for a group of users daily
automatically?
Could any one show me some examples?
Appreciate for any help...

Hate to answer my own, but I resolved the issue. First, I configured vsftpd as
a standalone. The minute I did that everything took off. After reading
bugzilla, it seemed prudent to download 1.1.13 from rawhide. Its install
defaults to a standalone install with a new vsftpd folder in /etc.

How best to enable and/or enter special character in X apps
(gnome-terminal, xterm, ...) on Red Hat 8.0 via either compose key
sequences and/or dead keys?
I have been googling and reading X docs but have not been able to get it
working.

When I drop my local firewall (the machine I want to handle all domain email), I
can telnet to ports 110 and 143 but not port 25 from the remote machine (the one I
want to forward email to the local machine. From another local machine, on my LAN,

Hallo list,
I assign 2 smtps in mozilla -- maybe it's even 3 because one of that
also send my mail to newsgroup.
The problem is: Mozilla always fails to send a message from the
non-default smtp. I thought it was my isp problem, but after I tried it
in evolution, that non-default smtp works just fin
