That's really strange. I got a handful who say it
works and some say it doesn't. I just tried other term
emu's and they work, but gnome-term doesn't. Wonder

For the most part, linux printing (CUPS used here) is working fairly well.
But why on earth aren't there page setup dialogs with margin controls for
printing? A number of KDE programs have issues with lines missed when
changing pages, second side printing starting too far to the left, etc. gt

has been queued and processed I can watch some log messages about filters and
backends and then - nothing happens...

I don't remember where I got the iso's. I kept getting cut off and
trying other mirrors. They all checked OK from a MD5SUM file I got from
one of the sites. I used cdrecord from the command line on RH7.1 to burn
mine. I've not yet tried to install/upgrade from my CD's. I want to
watch this list for
the 2 U's show which drives are currently part of the array. The
raid-howto on redhat's site is a good source of info for this.

Since I updated from 7.3 to 8.0 I've noticed that I'm now getting a
Permission Denied message from sendmail when it tries to access the
/etc/sasldb file.
I assume this is a result of root no longer owning sendmail in 8.0??? Is

When you did the install and got to the networking configuration screen, did you specify obtaining an IP address through DHCP? If not, you need to enable DHCP so that your Linux system knows enough to "ask" for IP address information from the Linksys router.

I've got it set to XDMCP Broadcast. I have 2 other servers that I
manually configured that are always showing up in the list. It's just
the new RH-8.0 box that's flaky. I'll try changing to what you

HP can probably answer this easily, but to all.
How do I tell gdm to all remote logins, like dtlogin
does, where I select a machine and login to it. I can login
to a RHL-8 box with dtlogin (on a Solaris box) but not the
reverse.

You may need to load an alsa-specific mixer to unmute it...

only is the supermount kernel module missing from /lib/modules, it's
missing entirely from the kernel source shipped with Redhat.

I have found that removing the power cord and battery are almost never
required. (even though it looks so)
