Trying to get MRTG to work. Normally after installing an snmp rpm you
go and delete the snmp.conf file and things work just fine. Well, that
doesn't seem to be the case with RH 8.0. When I run MRTG's cfgmaker
"cfgmaker [EMAIL PROTECTED]" I get all kind of errors:

This is usually what I see when I have the default snmp.conf. I went
and double checked that the file was not there "/etc/snmp.conf" and
sure enough it wasn't. Matter of fact there's nothing in the /etc/snmp
dir.
I've setup MRTG on a number of machines from RH 6.2 thru 7.2 and the
case is always the same, delete the config file, things are good.
That's just not happening in Rh 8.0.
Any ideas?
