That depends on how you define mid-level. I think most put it in the semi-pro class
somewhat above mid-level. Personally, I define mid level as anything between the MZ-5n
and the Dynaxx 7.

I used to get that look alot. Then I bought a 645N, 45-85, 120 and 35
all on the same day.

seemed relatively grainy, plus Wheaty warned us about the soft
emulsion.

In Nikon, I 've the 70-180 macro and it was very good in practice, and

I have run 5-6 rolls of Kodak 400cn na d alththoug you can see in
the neg it is not 'true'b&W film, i hav ebeen very happy with the
results.However now that i have joined the "brotherhood of dark":)
i'll stick with Tmax 100 or Delta 100.:

It certainly isn't as sharp as the 120mm but what is? It is on level with the FA 75mm;
