Hi. I have a Startech USB sound card that I'm using with my laptop, and it works great. I had to reformat the PC, and the card worked using the drivers for Windows 7, nothing extra to install. The cost of the card was quite reasonable, something like $25. I don't know about other sound cards.

Hello, I don't know if changing this line will allow you to switch between them at will though. Upon reboot, Jaws uses onboard. If I unload and then load up Jaws again, it goes to the SB card.
