Hi, groovy people! Maybe there's some obscure setting I still need to change, but here's what seems to be happening. I've set up JAWS to run through my on-board sound card and (theoretically) everything else to run through my usb Audigy sound card. When I boot up the computer, all the sound, JAWS and all that other stuff, come through the on-board sound card. Or sometimes the sounds come through the Audigy one, when I turn it on. When I fiddle with the Audigy awhile (I can never really tell if the thing is on or off, dang it) I eventually get JAWS to play through the on-board one and everything to play through the Adigy one, but it seems to take some fenagling. Any ideas.
YOu guys are the best!

Hi Chris. You can use a program like CDex to rip audio CD's to the harddrive, and then, you can use a program to burn the CD. I believe that Nero is one of the best for this.

Subject: CD Question
Hi all,
I'm somewhat inexperienced and uninformed about this stuff, and I think the
answer to my question is "no", but I'll ask it anyway.
Can you take a standard audio CD and convert it to mp3 format? If so, which
program works best for this? Also there are a number of different file
extensions but what is the file extension for a commercially purchased audio
CD?
With your help, I'll get up-to-speed on this stuff one of these days. I just don't have the time to spend on it that I would like to have.
Thanks much.
Kris Hickerson
