The Sirius satellites are only a small distance above Earth, while XM is
geo-stationary out at 22 thousand or so miles away. I know Sirius has
multiple satellites, possibly 3, and at least one or 2 are above the USA
at any one time.
Perhaps someone could recommend a good article on these diffe
