Ray, I do use it, write me off list if you wish. I only use the remote 
though and don't have a problem with that. I could use the buttons on the 
base unit if I wish too. Of course you realize you can't do direct entry of 
a station on the base like most of the things I own anyway. You seem to need 
the remote more and more.

The most friendly thing I own is XMPCR but I haven't been able to find it 
anywhere but heard they still offer it.
