yet to install Replay), I am still striking out with MP3 Directcut.

Hmm. I have a Windows xp Media Center Edition as well. In run, are you just
typing sndvol32? To get to the sound recording volume, it is exactly like
this.:
sndvol32/r
inputted into the windows run box.
Another idea is to go into your control panel, which a quick shortcut is hit
I have been spending the better part of today attempting to configure my
xp media center a1560n for recording with MP3 Directcut.
No matter how I set MP3 DirectCut or the settings on the record side of
sndvol32, all I get are blank recordings.
I feel stupid, but I am obviously missing something
