The headset is an over the ear type and is stereo, not terribly good for
music but very nice for chatting.

it's sounds like to me that one of the drivers that made the headset
work got corrupted so she might have to install those drivers again to
make her headset work or install the software that came with the headsets.

I am having a problem with my USB headset. When I try plugging it in, it
is listed as being there; however, it will not switch over to the headset
automatically. I need to do it myself, which didn't used to happen. If I
am using Jaws, I can disconnect the headset and Jaws goes ba

Hi Folks:
I know a couple of folks who have installed a USB headset on their computer.
The problem is, that when they adjust the volume control on the USB cord, it
adjusts the output of the internal card whether or not the USB device is the
default device or not.
Any thoughts?
