When you plug in your USB headset, it makes itself the default output device. With the headset plugged in, go to control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices, the Audio Device tab, and manually reset your default audio output device to the sound card driving your speakers.
If you are using JAWS, you will need to edit jfw.ini, to ensure that, each time you reboot, JAWS will speak through your speakers, and not through your headset. If you need to know how to do this, let us know. Blessed Be, Dana that's Dayna, D A N A, NOT Donna, D O N N A D. S. Leslie, née C. R. When I use my headset/mic with regular jacks, the speakers work fine. Is there a setting for this?
