I have several albums in both .FLAC and .APE formats which were ripped as single discs, complete with cue and log files. What's the best way to turn these back into single tracks? Do I have to burn them to a disc and then reconvert (re-rip) them to the individual tracks? Thanks in advance

If you're going to do something like this then I can't really see anything to be gained over using APe then you'd get with FLAC, there are several problems with APE, one being that its not a standard format across platforms, it requires a lot of processing power to decode and

Well, I just downloaded an exe file from Monkey's Audio that said it was the right thing. It did have a Winamp plug in.exe which I ran. Found the path to Winamp and appeared to do something but when I choose an Ape file the computer still doesn't know what program to use to open it
