If you have installed the Monkeys Audio program available from 
www.monkeysaudio.com I think from memory you should be given the 
option of installing the Winamp plug-in for Monkeys Audio as 
well.  On my copy of Winamp the Monkeys Audio plug-in is listed in 
the input plug-ins of Winamp.  The easiest way I've found to 
determine the version of Winamp you are using is to start Winamp.  At 
least with Window-Eyes the version number is spoken when Winamp 
starts.  I hope this helps.
