I'd agree that the Bookport or Plextalk Pocket would be an excellent
choice, especially as you can index on the fly, then as the previous
poster said, build a Daisy book.
I found access on an mpus, specifically the DM-4, so spotty that I have a

Hi Loren, I actually like the bookport plus as far as usability and great
voice feedback. It is from American Printing hous for the
Blind (APH.) It cost around $300.00. As far as the order of what I
consider best to worse in this area would be:
1. victorstream
2. bookport plus
3. plextalk
e for free from the RNIB and TVonics websites.

I think everyone in the U.S. who would like to see this availabled here,
should send a copy of this e-mail to the FCC.
Similar devices have been available in the U.K. for sometime and there is no
reason we shouldn't have acces to this technology. The FCC needs to know
we're tired of waiting!

I would not hold your breath. These have been available in the UK for over

Hmm, not sure.
Intresting though that they only talk about tv.
I don't have a tv and i don't want one.
Where are the accessible tuners and amplifiers with displays showing
information.
Seems to me that tv is more important than other audiodevices.
Don't take it personally Dan.

I'm not surprised you got nowhere with Prism, its a converter only as far as I

Hi!
Apologies to those who have already seen this article.
It would appear that the devices discussed on the following page are available
in the U.K. only? The Apple TV of course is available world-wide.
