Hit f11, goto the device's tab, and make sure line in is selected there. One can have something totally different setup for goldave seperat than standard system perams..

Subject: Gold Wave Not Recording From Correct Device

Hello,

Any pointers on where to look to solve the following:

I've configured my system to use the line in jack as the default recording
device and ensured that this is also what Gold Wave shows it will be using.
I've verified that line in recording works through sound recorder and the
device I want to record.

Yet when I go to record in Gold Wave, line in is not what is getting
recorded. Instead it is the audio of whatever screen reader I'm using at
the time.

Thanks,

Kelly
