I'd agree that the Bookport or Plextalk Pocket would be an excellent choice, especially as you can index on the fly, then as the previous poster said, build a Daisy book.
I found access on an mpus, specifically the DM-4, so spotty that I have a like-new one for sale. Also, the Bookport or Plextalk could handle a stereo mike though does quite well on MP3 mono. With its Softpack, the Victor Stream will record in MP3, or sound pretty good in NLS format for many hours. My vote is for the Plextalk Pocket, Ver. 5.0 or later, and/or the Bookport Plus which adds the foxy narration. This message in search of a tag line. @maxter61 on twitter. Regards, Max!
