Hi,
What do you mean by calling CDDB "grace notes?" I play and read music, so
that's the spirit in which I'm asking. I know what a grace note is, too.
So why do you refer to CDDB as grace notes?
Thanks. Always interested to learn new technical expressions.

Nero generally starts with a new compilation dialogue. Press escape after
starting nero to dismiss this dialogue and then you will be able to select
from the menu bar including the file menu.

There are no clickable graphis that a screen reader can make use of with the
creative media software. I have to have sighted assistance with it as well.

Kevin,
Where do you find a Files menu in Nero? I have version 6, and if I launch
Nero Burning ROM discretely, or any of the other program modules, they don't
seem to have Windows-style menu lines with File menus. And if I launch Nero
Express, it doesn't, either. Where in Version 6 is an inte
How come you say to reboot? What's the purpose? If it has something to do
with not working the CD drive/burner too hard, why not just stop burning CDs
for a few minutes or hours or whatever? Am I missing something? I'd love
to know how to take bst care of my equipment.

Hi,
I think so but don't know exactly how to do this. Play with your settings
in total recorder.

Hi Shane.
I have a Creative jukebox 2 and use notmad explorer to load the player.
Once I've loaded the player, I generally create a playlistor two of all of
the tracks I want the player to play. When I come to use the player there
is minimal menu use to start it playing the playlist I've created.
As far as your first question goes, reboot every once in a while. For the
second question, most lasers run fairly cool now-a-days, but if you want to
know the answer to that question you have to look at the specs for the
particular drive.

basically what I want is this.
Every time I re=load teh player, I have to get sighted assistants to re-set
to play all tracks or whatever I want it to play.
What I want is firmware, or something, to make it so, when I load the
player, it automatically sets itself up to play all tracks, without m
Hi Shane.
Not completely clear what you're looking for here but if it's software to
help you transfer music from your computer to your player and organise it
into playlists then take a look at notmad explorer from Red Chair Software
to see if it supports your player and if it will do what you want
Steve,
I regularly burn a number of CD's in a session and have experienced no
problems. As to lifetime of the burner, I've probably burned in excess of
100 CD's with this burner so far and no signs of any problems there either.

Hello everyone,
My name is Shane Davidson, I am from Stratford ONtario Canada.
I recently aquired a zn micro mp3 player, the player put on by creative
technologies.
Does anyone know of firmware that I can install that wil override it's stupid
explore thing, and make the mp3 player easier to use?
The nero wizard was replaced by nero express from version 6.0 onwards.
Version 6.6 is preferred to earlier 6.x versions as it has generally given
better access to nero express and smart start with each release.
My recommendation though would be to stick with 5.5 unless you have a very
good reason

of CDs in a single session, would I need to take a break at some point
because of the heat of the burner, and possibly causing errors?
Second, is there a ball park figure of the life of a burner which is used
